INDIANAPOLIS -- The Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championships are as close as your computer, thanks to the Horizon League Network (HLN). Coverage of the League summit will be available online Thursday through Saturday (Feb. 21-23).

HLN will provide free, live web streams of the finals sessions all three nights, beginning at 6 p.m. (Eastern time) from Cleveland State University's Busbey Natatorium. The broadcast marks the first time HLN has streamed an individual-sport championship. HLN previously has aired live broadcasts of championship contests in men's and women's soccer, volleyball, baseball and softball and early-round action in the men's and League's women's basketball tournaments.

The three days of coverage will feature championships in 17 of the 21 men's events and 18 of the 21 women's events, as well as the presentation of team and individual awards after Saturday's competition.

Wright State University has won four of the last five League Championships on the men's side, but Cleveland State attempts to regain the top spot in the standings after claiming the title in 2006. Three-time defending champion University of Wisconsin-Green Bay leads the field on the women's side, with the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee trying to end the Phoenix' hold on the crown.

Dave Wilson calls the action on Thursday and Saturday, with Al Pawlowski describing the action on Friday. Former Cleveland State swimmer Marianne Lionell provides color commentary all three nights. The web casts will be produced by students in Cleveland State's School of Communication, under the guidance of John Ban.

The Horizon League Network is the premier destination for free, live video of Horizon League competition and other on-demand feature programming. The Network produced more than 350 games in its first two years and will web cast nearly 400 events during the 2007-08 academic year. The HLN programming schedule includes more than 200 men's and women's basketball games as well as selected games in both basketball championship tournaments. HLN also features behind-the-scenes stories of Horizon League student-athletes, coaches and teams, along with weekly highlight summaries of Horizon League action.
