Loyola 85, Cleveland State 82 (OT)
Chicago, Ill. - Loyola junior Jenna Real scored 31 points to lead the Ramblers to an 85-82 overtime victory over Cleveland State in the first round of the Horizon League Women's Basketball Championship Tuesday evening.

With the victory, Loyola advances to the quarterfinals and squares off against top-seeded UW-Milwaukee at 8 p.m. (EST) Thursday night at the Klotsche Center.

The match-up saw two completely different halves. The Ramblers jumped out in the first, 42-27, only to see the Vikings rally late in the second to knot the game at 73 and send the game into an extra session.

Real was one of four Ramblers in double figures. Emily Ponder set a season-high with 21 points, while Marquise Hanser added 12 and Jana Lucas notched a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds, her second of the '05-06 season. Real's point total was good for the top mark in the Horizon League this season, topping UIC's Chrissy Dizon's 30 against Youngstown State on Jan. 28.

Cleveland State's offense was paced by senior Omega Harrington who had 27 points on 11-of-23 shooting. Dominique Butler pitched in 21 points, eight rebounds and five steals, while Robyn Hoying hit seven of her nine attempts for 14 points.
