Women's Basketball Preview - December 8

UW-Green Bay at Illinois State - 8:05 p.m.
The UW-Green Bay women's basketball team (4-2) wraps up a four-game road swing this week, starting with Illinois State University (4-1) on Thursday night. The contest can be heard on WDUZ "The Fan" 1400 AM with Bruce VandenPlas on the call.

UW-Green Bay owns a 2-0 all-time record against Illinois State, winning 76-57 in 1997-98 at Normal, Ill. and 67-62 in 1996-97 at the Phoenix Sports Center.

The Phoenix went 1-1 last week on the road, as the team rebounded from an 81-57 setback to Iowa with a 74-72 come-from-behind win at Oakland. In the Saturday contest against the Grizzlies, both Natalie Berglin and Amanda Popp established new career highs in scoring, contributing 23 and 16 points, respectively.
