LaShonda Grant, UIC, Sophomore, Guard, Chicago, Ill./Marshall
Sophomore guard LaShonda Grant was instrumental in leading the Flames to three victories during the past week, averaging 18.7 points per game, while shooting 71.4 percent (10-for-14) from three-point range and 64.3 percent (18-for-28) from the field. Grant opened the week with a game-high 24 points, including tying a career high with six three-pointers in the Flames' 64-55 victory over UW-Milwaukee on Jan. 17. Grant was a perfect 6-for-6 from beyond the arc, including five in the second half. Three days later, Grant was again the team leader with 16 points in a 75-58 triumph over Detroit. The sophomore guard rounded out the week with 16 points on 6-for-11 shooting from the field in an 82-70 win over Cleveland State on Jan. 22.

Ellen Hamilton, Butler, Sophomore, Guard, Greenfield, Ind./Greenfield Central
Hamilton averaged 15 points per game last week to lead the Bulldogs to a split of two Horizon League contests. In Thursday's win against Youngstown State, Hamilton went 8-for-8 from the free-throw line to post 14 points. In Saturday's comeback bid against UW-Milwaukee, Hamilton helped to eliminate a 21-point deficit with three treys and a game-high 16 points. She has scored in double figures in five straight games and leads the Bulldogs with 11.0 points per game. Hamilton also leads the Horizon League with a 91 percent mark from the free-throw line.
Erin Martin, Cleveland State, Junior, Guard, Canfield, Ohio/Canfield
Martin continued to lead the Vikings offensively, averaging 19.5 points last week. On Thursday at Wisconsin, she tallied 16 points, three assists and two steals. Two days later at UIC, she led all players with 23 points, marking her third 20-point game of the season. Martin also matched her career high with 10 rebounds for her second double-double.
Katie Solner, Detroit, Junior, Guard, Birmingham, Mich./Marian
Despite going 0-2 last week, Solner stayed consistent in posting 15 points in each of the Titans' two contests. For the week, Solner also chipped in 10 assists and four steals
Mary Kulenkamp, UW-Green Bay, Senior, Guard, Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury
Kulenkamp was a spark both offensively and defensively for the Phoenix in its 2-0 week as UW-Green Bay improved to 7-0 in Horizon League play and 16-2 overall. Averaging just 5.6 points per game entering the week, Kulenkamp stepped up with a season-high 13 points in UW-Green Bay's win over South Dakota State Jan. 18, thanks to 6-of-7 shooting. Then, in UW-Green Bay's win over Detroit Jan. 22, Kulenkamp tallied nine points. Defensively, Kulenkamp had eight steals on the week, including five against South Dakota State. Kulenkamp shot a blistering 69.2 percent from the field during the two-game homestand.
Nichole Drummond, UW-Milwaukee, Junior, Forward, Kenosha, Wis./Tremper
Drummond paced the UWM women's basketball team to a 2-1 record this past week. Drummond scored 16 points and grabbed 11 rebounds at UIC on Monday before a 15-point, five-rebound, three-steal performance in a victory over Wright State on Thursday. The 5-10 forward finished the week scoring 13 points, handing four assists and registering four steals in a 66-61 home victory over Butler. For the week Drummond averaged 14.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.7 steals, and 2.3 assists per game in addition to shooting an outstanding 77.8 percent (7-9) from three-point land. She is currently fifth in the league in scoring and 10th in rebounding.
Kendra Agee, Wright State, Junior, Guard, Shaker Heights, Ohio/Shaker Heights
In the Raiders' only contest of the week, Agee finished with 12 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals in a 69-58 loss to UW-Milwaukee.
Cathy Hanek, Youngstown State, Senior, Guard, Youngstown, Ohio/Ursuline
Hanek average 21.5 points per game and led the Penguins to a 1-1 record last week. She also collected 2.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game while shooting 41.2 percent from the floor, 45 percent from the three-point line and 86.7 percent from the free-throw line. Hanek scored a career-high 28 points on 9-of-15 shooting, including 6-of-9 from three-point range, in YSU's 97-73 win over IPFW. In YSU's loss to Butler, Hanek led the Penguins with 15 points and sank three more three-pointers.
