INDIANAPOLIS –Horizon League women’s basketball tips off the second half of conference play with four games tonight followed by five more on Saturday.

No. 21/17 Green Bay (20-1, 9-0 Horizon), which took the number one position in the standings after defeating Butler (66-62) last week, will host Cleveland State (12-8, 7-2) tonight at 8pm ET.

Green Bay is currently on a nine-game winning streak against Horizon League opponents after defeating the Bulldogs and Valparaiso (69-50). This marks the longest streak since the Phoenix went 18-0 in league play in 2008-09.

Cleveland State currently sits fourth in the standings after defeating Youngstown State (86-65) last week.

The Phoenix defeated the Vikings, 63-55, in the first meeting this season on Jan. 8. 

Green Bay will then host Youngstown State on Saturday, while Cleveland State will travel to Milwaukee.  Both contests are scheduled to begin at 3pm ET.

In the first game of the evening, Detroit will travel to Butler for a 7pm ET tipoff.

The Bulldogs are 14-7 on the season and 8-1 in conference action, coming in second in the standings with the loss to the Phoenix last week.  The Titans are coming off of a 0-2 road trip to Chicago, falling to Loyola (88-77OT) and UIC (66-58), and look to retaliate from a 72-66 setback to Butler on Jan. 8. 

Detroit will then travel to Valparaiso on Saturday for a 2:35pm ET contest, while Butler hosts Wright State at 2pm.

Milwaukee (7-13, 4-5) and Youngstown State (3-17, 1-8) look to rebound from losses last week as the Panthers host the Penguins in an 8pm ET tipoff.

Milwaukee split a pair of road games last week, defeating Valparaiso (73-61) before falling to Butler (72-64).  Youngstown State lost to the Vikings in its only contest last week.

In their last match-up, the Panthers defeated the Penguins on the road, 65-57. 

Wright State (13-7, 6-3) and Valparaiso (4-17, 1-8) will also battle tonight at 8:05pm as the Crusaders host the Raiders.

Wright State is looking to keep the momentum going on the road after picking up a victory at Loyola last week.  The Raiders lost to UIC (84-69) on the trip to Chicago, but remain third in the standings at 6-3 (13-7 overall).

The Crusaders look to recover from a 0-2 week in Wisconsin, losing to the Panthers and the Phoenix.

Wright State defeated Valparaiso, 90-67, in their first meeting of the season on Jan. 8.

On Saturday, Loyola (9-11, 3-6) will head to UIC (10-10, 5-4) for its only contest this week, after splitting a pair on the road last week.  The Ramblers defeated Detroit in overtime before falling to Wright State (77-76), while the Flames defeated both the Raiders (84-69) and Titans (66-58) last week.

Wright State defeated UIC in the first half of conference play, 69-58.
