Horiozn League Player of the Week
Dejeanette Flournoy, UIC, Senior, Forward, Chicago, Ill./Washington
Flournoy helped UIC extend its winning streak to six games, averaging a double-double of 15.5 points and 11.5 rebounds in two Flames' victories over the past week. Against Youngstown State, Flournoy scored 13 of her game-high, 19 points in the second half, including eight rebounds as the Flames picked up the 73-65 triumph over the host Penguins. The Chicago, Ill., native bounced back on Saturday afternoon for her first double-double of the season with a game-high, 12 points and a team-season high, 15 rebounds in a 63-48 victory over Detroit. For the season, Flournoy is averaging 8.7 points and 6.5 rebounds overall and 11.2 points and 8.4 boards in Horizon League play.

Ellen Hamilton, Butler, Sophomore, Guard, Greenfield, Ind./Greenfield Central
Hamilton scored a team-high 13 points Saturday for the Bulldogs. All of her points came in the second half. Hamilton went 5-of-11 from the field, including two three-pointers. In just her second year, Hamilton is already ninth on Butler's career three-pointers made list. She leads the team with an 11.1 points per game scoring average and 89 percent free throw shooting.

Katie Solner, Detroit, Junior, Guard, Birmingham, Mich./Marian
In a 74-73 overtime loss to UW-Milwaukee, Solner finished the contest with 17 points and nine assists. Two days later, she posted 12 points in just 24 minutes of work against UIC.

Tiffany Mor, UW-Green Bay, Senior, Forward, Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran
Mor led the Phoenix on both ends of the floor in a pair of Horizon League wins that increased UW-Green Bay's lead on the League to three games. The senior forward averaged 19.5 points per game, aided by her game-high 23 points in the team's win over Loyola Jan. 29. Mor, one of the nation's top shooters, went 16-23 from the field on the week for a white-hot 69.6 percent. Mor also led the Phoenix with 5.5 rebounds per game and 2.0 rebounds per game on the week as UW-Green Bay tallied a +28.5 scoring margin in its two victories.

Nichole Drummond, UW-Milwaukee, Junior, Forward, Kenosha, Wis./Tremper
Drummond helped lead UWM to a 1-1 road trip this past weekend, including a dramatic come-from-behind victory over Detroit on Thursday. The 5'11" junior filled the stat sheet on Thursday, finishing with 17 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 5 steals in the 74-73 overtime victory. Drummond saved her best work for crunch time as she scored 12 points in the final 4 minutes of regulation and overtime, including the game-winning basket with 1.1 seconds left. Drummond then led UWM with 18 points to go with 6 rebounds and two steals at Youngstown State on Saturday. For the week Drummond averaged 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 3.5 steals while shooting 53.8 percent (14-of-26) from the floor and 83.0 percent from the free throw line.

Jeanette Woodberry, Wright State, Sophomore, Guard, Detroit, Mich./Martin Luther King
Woodbery went 8-13 from the field, including 2-5 from three-point range, with five rebounds in scoring 18 at Butler. Just two days earlier, Woodberry posted six points, six rebounds and three assists against Loyola.

Jen Perugini, Youngstown State, Senior, Forward,, Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.
Perugini led the Penguins to a 1-1 record last week while averaging 17 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. The 6'2" forward also shot an impressive 51.7 percent (15-of-29) from the field. In YSU's loss to UIC, Perugini led the team with 16 points on 8-of-16 shooting from the floor and grabbed eight boards. Perugini also came off the bench for 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting to help the Penguins defeat UW-Milwaukee, 79-67. She also collected three blocked shots last week.
