Other Top Performers
Ashley Brenden, Butler, Sophomore, Forward/Center, Bloomington, Minn./Jefferson
Brenden posted the first double-double of her career, helping a short-handed Butler squad to a 62-60 victory over IPFW Tuesday night. Brenden, seeing increased time due to the absence of preseason "All-Horizon League" post player Cortney Urquhart, scored a team-high 13 points on 6-of-11 shooting and added a career-high 10 rebounds. The 6'3" post player also had two blocks, two assists and two steals. On the year, Brenden leads the team in field goal percentage and blocks, and ranks second in rebounding.

Lindsey Pasquinzo, Detroit, Junior, Guard, Shelby Township, Mich./Utica

If not for a buzzerbeater by Western Michigan on Dec. 22, Detroit on the strength of a game-high 21 points from Pasquinzo, including an amazing 24-foot triple to put the Red, White and Blue ahead, 64-63, with 1.3 second remaining, the Titans would have recorded their first two-game winning streak of the season. Despite being plagued by foul trouble which limited her to only five minutes in the first half against the Broncos, she went on to register 10 of her game-high 21 points in the final 20 minutes on 8-of-10 shooting (team season-high). She also connected on a team season-best five three-pointers on just six attempts in the contest while also pulling down four rebounds and rejecting one shot. Earlier in the week, Pasquinzo chipped in 11 points on 5-of-9 shooting (.556), including 1-for-2 from beyond the arc to help Detroit snap a season-long five-game losing skid. She also pulled down four rebounds. For the year, she is leading the team in scoring, minutes, field goal percentage, triples, three-point percentage and steals. Pasquinzo currently ranks eighth in school history in three-pointers.
