Women's Basketball Player of the Week
Megan Rogers, UW-Milwaukee, Sophomore, Forward Madison, Wis./LaFollette
With leading scorer Nichole Drummond out with an injury, sophomore Megan Rogers led UWM to a pair of League victories this past week. The Madison native scored a career-and game-high 21 points on Thursday in Milwaukee's crucial 76-68 victory over UIC. In the game Rogers shot 7-for-13 from the field, including a career-high four three-pointers. Rogers also had two boards and two steals in just 22 minutes of the bench. Then, on Saturday, Rogers once again led UWM offensively, this time scoring a game-high 15 points in 26 minutes off the bench. She shot 7-for-12 from the floor and added three more rebounds and three more steals. For the week, Rogers averaged 18.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game, while shooting 14-for-25 (56 percent) from the floor and 5-for-10 (50 percent) from the three-point line.

Other Top Performers
Cortney Urquhart, Butler, Senior, Center, Somerset Center, Mich./Hanover-Horton
Urquhart averaged a double-double of 16 points and 11 rebounds in two games last week, leading the Bulldogs to a split of two League games. Urquhart picked up her second double-double of the season Thursday at Loyola, coming off the bench to score 20 points and post a career-high 14 rebounds. She followed that up with a 12-point, eight-rebound performance against UIC Saturday. Urquhart shot 54 percent from the field in the two games and needs just 44 points in the team's final games to move into the 10th spot on Butler's career scoring list. She currently has 1,114 points.

Joanna Cooper, Detroit, Junior, Forward, Birmingham, Detroit, Mich./Renaissance
Cooper became first Titan to pull down double-figure rebounds with 11 at Wright State. Against Cleveland State, she led the team in scoring with 14 off the bench. Cooper finished the week nearly averaged a double-double (11.0 points and 9.0 rebounds).

LaShonda Grant, UIC, Sophomore, Guard, Chicago, Ill./Marshall
Grant averaged 19.5 points while shooting 70.6 percent (12-for-17) from the field and 70 percent (7-for-10) from three-point range in two games for UIC this past week, as the Flames went 1-1 in Horizon League action. Grant's most impressive performance came on Saturday against Butler, as the Chicago, Ill., native poured in a career-high, 31 points, including 21 in the first half, in the 72-67 victory over the Bulldogs. For the game, Grant was 9-for-10, including 5-for-6 from beyond the three-point arc. For the season, Grant is averaging a team-best 13.7 points per contest, while shooting a team-best 36.7 percent (44-for-120) from three-point range. In League play, Grant is pouring in 14.3 points per outing and shooting 41.1 percent (37-for-90) from beyond the three-point arc.

Meskhenet Lands, Loyola, Senior, Guard, Indianapolis, Ind./Southport
Lands averaged 14.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game as the Ramblers dropped a pair of games last week. Lands recorded her fourth 20-point game of the season on Thursday, adding six boards and four assists, as Loyola fell to Butler. For the season, she leads the team in scoring and ranks in the top three in the Horizon League at 14.0 points per game.

Tiffany Mor, UW-Green Bay, Senior, Forward, Appleton, Wis./Fox Valley Lutheran
Despite UW-Green Bay going 1-1 on the week, Mor had a stellar week both on and off the court. On Tuesday, Mor was named to the ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District V First Team, qualifying her for the Academic All-America ballot. Then, on Thursday against Cleveland State, Mor poured in 23 points to lead the Phoenix to its 78-61 victory. Against Youngstown State Feb. 19, Mor led all scorers with 18 points along with a game-high seven rebounds and three blocked shots.

Brittney Whiteside, Wright State, Sophomore, Guard, Columbus, Ohio/Mifflin
In the Raiders' only action of the weeek, Whiteside recorded 14 points, six rebounds and five steals to lead Wright State to a 53-37 victory over Detroit.

Jen Perugini, Youngstown State, Senior, Forward,, Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.
Perugini extended her double digit scoring streak against League opponents to seven games after leading the Penguins with 12 points in YSU's 60-56 upset over No. 23 UW-Green Bay on Saturday. Perugini also grabbed a team-high seven rebounds and sealed the victory over UWGB by converting a free throw with 4.9 seconds left.
