Miller's goal in the 94th minute against Detroit on Wednesday (Oct. 25) gave the Raiders the No. 3 seed for the Horizon League Championship. Off of a corner kick, Miller headed a ball from five yards out past the Titan goalkeeper for the golden goal. On the season, she has 23 points on nine goals and five assists.

No. 8 Cleveland State (3-16-0, 0-7-0 HL) at No. 1 UW-Milwaukee (15-2-1; 7-0-0 HL)
Previous meeting: UWM 5, CSU 0 at Cleveland State on Oct. 8
UW-Milwaukee built a 2-0 halftime lead and tallied three second-half scores to roll past Cleveland State, 5-0. Sophomore Beth Steuer led the team with two goals and freshman Louise Vraney picked up her first two assists on the year for Milwaukee. Freshman Erin Kreuser scored the game-winner, while freshman Carly Chertos and junior Joanna Severson each added scores. Sophomore Erin Kane and freshman Ilana Bar-Av combined on the shutout, with Kane making Milwaukee's two saves in the first half. Bar-Av entered the game in the 77th minute and made one save. Erin Withrow and Ashley Kidwell each played a half for the Vikings in goal with Kidwell making all six CSU saves after the break.

No. 7 Youngstown State (3-13-0, 1-6-0 HL) at No. 2 Loyola (11-6-3; 5-1-1 HL)

Four different players put their name on the scoresheet and Loyola enjoyed a 34-5 edge in shots en route to a 4-1 win over Youngstown State at Loyola Soccer Park. Loyola stormed out of the gate, putting the Penguin defense under duress from the opening kickoff. Mary Dale, Katie Heidenreich and Cynthia Morote-Ariza all had chances and it was Dale who opened the scoring in the eighth minute, depositing a Heidenreich cross far post into the back of the net for an early 1-0 lead.

No. 6 Butler (5-10-2, 2-4-1 HL) at No. 3 Wright State (12-3-3, 4-2-1 HL)
Previous meeting: WSU 1, BU 0 at Butler on Oct. 6
Wright State ended a three-game winless streak with a 1-0 victory on the road over Butler. The Raiders' lone goal was scored by sophomore midfielder Jess Rooma and senior goalkeeper Steph Comisar moved into first place on the Wright State all-time shutout list with her fifth clean sheet of the season and 20th of her career. The Green and Gold out shot the Bulldogs 15-4 and owned an 8-4 advantage on corner kicks.

No. 5 UW-Green Bay (8-6-2; 3-3-1 HL) at No. 4 Detroit (8-10-0, 4-3-0 HL)

A goal by Mary Parker in the 82nd minute proved to be the game-winner as the Detroit women's soccer team defeated UW-Green Bay on Oct. 22 at Santaga Stadium. After a scoreless first 45 minutes, the Titans started to step up their game and came out more aggressive, peppering the UWGB keeper with a flurry of shots. In the 82nd minute, Detroit earned a corner kick and Liz Hardy sent the ball in and it found the head of a leaping Parker for a 1-0 Titan lead. UWGB won the shot war, posting 16 to Detroit's 14 and held an 8-4 edge in shots on goal. Kate Fortenberry made eight saves, compared to three for her counterpart from UWGB, Brooke Wikgren.
