CLEVELAND - No. 2 Wright State (28-28-1) advances to the title game of the 2010 Horizon League Softball Championship after a 4-0 victory over No. 4 Valparaiso (35-21).  The Raiders will face off against No. 1 seed Cleveland State in game being shown live on the Horizon League Network.

The Raiders lit up the scoreboard first with an RBI single from junior Justine Shilt in the bottom of the first inning, giving WSU the 1-0 advantage.

Wright State increased their lead to 4-0 in the bottom of the sixth inning as senior Jamie Perkins drove a three-run double to right field, sending home teammates Shilt, Kristen Bradshaw and Louie Heyne.

The complete-game shutout serves as Melanie Heyne's first of her career as the WSU senior struck out 6 batters, allowing a mere four hits.
