INDIANAPOLIS - Wright State University senior guard Todd Brown has been named the Horizon League Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 15.

A native of Canton, Ohio, Brown averaged 19 points and five rebounds to lead Wright State to a 2-1 record at the season-opening AIA Classic in Seattle. He scored 21 points in the Raiders' season-opening 74-69 loss to #14/13 University of Washington on Friday and book-ended the three-game series with 25 points in an 82-73 victory Sunday over Belmont University.

For the week, Brown shot 63 percent (22-of-35) from the field, including 6-of-13 from three-point range, and also averaged 2.3 assists and 1.3 steals per contest.

Brown was named to the Preseason All-Horizon League Team after being a second-team pick at the end of last season. He is tied for fifth in the League in scoring (19.0 ppg) and fourth in field-goal percentage (.629).

The Raiders (2-1) have a nine-day break for final exams before resuming action in their home opener Nov. 24 against Central Michigan University.
