The Valparaiso University men’s basketball team used seven combined first-half 3-pointers from junior Alec Peters and senior Darien Walker to jump out to a quick lead Monday in Youngstown, Ohio, and then used a tremendous advantage on the boards to control the rest of the game as the Crusaders defeated Youngstown State, 96-65.
Benzinger Three Lifts Men Past Detroit 77-76
A Grant Benzinger three with 17.1 seconds remaining capped off a 17-7 rally in the final 4:31 as the Wright State men's basketball team pulled out a 77-76 Horizon League victory over Detroit Monday night at WSU's Nutter Center.
