WSU's Bond, YSU's Rogner Named Golf Athletes Of The Week

HORIZON LEAGUE GOLF ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Matt Bond, Wright State
Senior - Rockwall, Texas
Bond tied for sixth at the Ball State Invitational in Jasper, Ind., March 28-29. The senior fired a 148 (75-73) to lead the Raiders to fifth place in the 14-team event. Bond, who finished as WSU's top finisher by six strokes, was just four strokes behind the leader.

Katie Rogner, Youngstown State
Sophomore - Warren, Ohio
Rogner fired a 3-round tally of 230 (75-78-77) at the UC Spring Invitational in Crystal River, Fla., March 27-28. She placed sixth among 85 participants in the event, leading the Penguins to finish eighth of 17 teams. It marked the second time this year Rogner has been YSU's top finisher.
