INDIANAPOLIS -- Wright State sophomore Hayden Joblin (Brooklyn, New Zealand) has been named Horizon League Men’s Tennis Athlete of the Week for the week of March 5-11. The honor is the second of the year for Joblin.

On Wright State’s (11-2) road trip through Pittsburgh, Pa., Joblin helped lift Wright State to a 4-3 win over Duquesne and a 6-1 victory against Robert Morris. With two victories at No. 2 singles, Joblin continued his unbeaten mark in the spring, holding an 11-0 record.

After teaming with Jamison Clark to win at No. 1 doubles, 9-7, Joblin recorded a key 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 2 singles against his opponent from Duquesne as the Raiders held on for the win.

The following day, Joblin and Clark breezed to an 8-2 triumph at No. 1 doubles ahead of Joblin’s 6-3, 6-1 win at No. 2.

Wright State will be off this week before entering conference play on Saturday, March 24, when the Raiders head to UIC for their Horizon League opener at 8 p.m. ET.
