Co-Women’s Soccer Players of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. – Cleveland State’s Natalie Daniels and Detroit’s Alexandra Suschak earn Co-Women’s Soccer Player of the Week honors for the period of Aug. 23-29.

Daniels netted three goals in two games this past weekend, extending her scoring streak to three straight matches.  Against Kent State on Sunday, the junior scored the game-tying goal in the 56th minute bringing the final score to 2-2.  She owns four goals on the season and with 11 in her career is just one score shy of the school record.

Suschak racked up three goals in two games this past weekend all from her defender position.  The junior piloted the Titans to a pair of victories against IUPUI and Madonna, scoring two tallies off corner kicks against the Crusaders.  Detroit’s defense also pitched shutouts in both games over the weekend.
