Youngstown State's Roberts and Hill sweep women's swimmer and diver honors

INDIANAPOLIS –Youngstown State’s Samantha Roberts is the women’s swimmer of the week and Casey Hill is the women’s diver of the week for Jan. 4-10.

Roberts, a sophomore from Spencer, Ind., won all three events she competed in on Friday against Ohio University. She beat six competitors in the 100 breaststroke (1:08.51) and 200 backstroke (2:25.12) and took first out of eight in the 400 individual medley (4:53.79).

Hill, a sophomore from Bethlehem, Pa., has earned her fifth diver of the week award for the 2010-11 season placing second out of eight in both diving events on Friday. In the 1-meter dive she earned a 248.17 and scored a 253.58 in the 3-meter.

The Penguins return to action on Jan. 15th when it hosts Akron and Saint Francis (Pa.). The meet will start at 1pm (EST) and will be covered live on www.horizonleague.com.
