INDIANAPOLIS -- Former Horizon League men's basketball standouts Cedrick Banks (UIC) and A.J. Graves (Butler) have been named to the Mid-Major All-Decade Team by the college basketball web site collegeinsider.com.

Banks, a shooting guard from Chicago, Ill., finished his UIC career (2001-05) as the school's all-time leading scorer with 2,097 points for a career average of 17.3 per game.

Banks earned All-Horizon League First-Team honors for three consecutive seasons (2003-05) and led UIC to three straight postseason appearances, including NCAA Tournament berths in 2002 and 2004.

In 2002, Banks led the Flames to a Horizon League Championship title and was named Horizon League Tournament MVP.

Graves, a guard from Switz City, Ind., finished third on Butler's all-time scoring list with 1,087 points (2004-08). He finished second on Butler's career list with 303 three-point field goals and second with a .900 free-throw percentage.

Graves was chosen first-team All-Horizon League for two consecutive seasons (2007-08) and was Butler's first two-time Academic All-American in men's basketball.

Graves helped the Bulldogs to a Sweet 16 appearance in 2007, and was on Butler's NCAA Tournament team in 2008. He also helped Butler to a 30-4 record in 2007-08 as the Bulldogs set the Horizon League's all-time record for single-season wins.
