INDIANAPOLIS – Cleveland State’s Carys Behn has been named the Horizon League Women’s Swimmer of the week and Youngstown State’s Casey Hill has earned Women’s Diver of the Week honors for the period of Oct. 18-24.

Behn, a junior from Westville, South Africa earned first place in all events she competed in over the weekend. She helped the Vikings overcome the defending Horizon League champions, Green Bay, coming from behind on the final stretch of the 400 free relay to win the race and the meet. The win was Cleveland State’s first win over Green Bay in program history. She also took first-place in the 1,000 free against Valparaiso, finishing in a time of 11:02.75.

Hill, a sophomore from Bethlehem, Penn., became the fourth diver in school history to score over 300 in a 3-meter dive at the Clarian Diving Invitational on Sunday (Oct. 24). She earned a 308.80, taking first-place out of 16 divers. She also earned first place on both the one - and three - meter dive versus Niagara on Saturday (Oct. 23).

Cleveland State is taking a week off and returns to action on Friday, (Nov. 5) traveling to Columbus, Ohio to compete against Denison and Ohio State. Youngstown State will also take a week off and is scheduled to travel to Marshall for a 2pm meet on Saturday, Nov. 6.
