INDIANAPOLIS – Cleveland State’s Berry Thompson is the Horizon League Men’s Swimmer of the Week and Green Bay’s Daniel Pogue is the Men’s Diver of the Week for the period of Oct. 18-25.

Thompson, a sophomore from Woodmere, Ohio and back-to-back swimmer of the week, set pool records in the 50 and 100 free against Green Bay on Saturday (Oct. 23) taking first place in both events. He finished the 50 free in a time of 20.88 and the 100 free in 45.70. Thompson was also part of the first-place 400 free relay team that finished in a time of 3:10.07.

Pogue, a junior from Chisholm, Minn., qualified for an NCAA regionals zone diving on the one-meter dive against Cleveland State on Saturday (Oct. 23).  He took first-place in both the one and three meter dives, scoring a 311.85 on the one-meter and 292.50 in the three-meter dive.

Cleveland State returns to action on Saturday (Oct. 30) at 2pm(EST) against Miami (Ohio) in Oxford, Ohio. Green Bay also returns to action on Saturday, hosting Wright State with a noon start time.
