INDIANAPOLIS --- After all of the conference championships concluded on Monday, the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Associations (USTFCCCA) released its regional cross country rankings.

Featured in the men's Great Lakes Region was Butler, who jumped seven spots from No. 14 in last week's poll to No. 7 in this week's poll. Big Ten powers Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio State are ranked No. 1-4, respectively with Notre Dame rounding out the top-five.

Also in the men's Midwest Region, Loyola moved up one spot to No. 14 from No. 15 last week.

For the women, Butler is the lone Horizon League team featured in the Great Lakes Region. The Bulldogs are ranked 12th in the region, down one spot from last week.

Butler will be back in action in two weeks when it travels to the Great Lakes Regional in Toledo, Ohio on Nov. 12. Loyola will also be competing that weekend in DeKalb, Ill. at the Midwest Regional.
