INDIANAPOLIS - Wright State senior Quentin Cate and Milwaukee sophomore Cameron Amsrud have been named Horizon League Baseball Players of the Week for the period of March 29-April 4. Cate registers his fourth career weekly honor from the League office, while Amsrud records his third.

Cate picks up Batter of the Week accolades after going 15-for-25 (.600) with two homers, six doubles, 11 runs and 20 RBI in five games last week. He also registered a 1.080 slugging percentage and .615 on-base percentage for the Raiders.

The infielder, a native of Cambria, Calif., recorded multiple hits and RBI in all five tilts last week. In a three-game weekend series against Butler, he went 11-for-16 with 10 scores and 15 runs knocked in.

Amsrud notches Pitcher of the Week honors after tossing 5.2 scoreless innings over three appearances for the Panthers last week. He limited opponents to a .190 batting average and struck out three while walking just one.

The right-hander, a native of Schofield, Wis., recorded a save against Parkside on Tuesday, then tallied a win and save against Cleveland State on Saturday.

Wright State (11-10, 3-0) returns to action on Tuesday when it hosts Ohio at 6:30 p.m. ET. Milwaukee (10-13, 4-2) is back on the diamond Thursday when it entertains Wisconsin Lutheran at 5 p.m.
