For the second straight year the road to the Horizon League Tournament Championship will run through Woodling Gymnasium at Cleveland State. The Vikings (22-4 overall; 13-1 conference) clinched the top seed in the tournament after defeating Youngstown State in straight sets to extend their winning streak to 13 matches.
The Horizon League Tournament is set to begin on Friday, November 18 with the No. 3 seed playing the No 6 seed while the No. 4 seed will face the No. 5 seed. On Friday, November 19, Cleveland State and the No. 2 seed will play the winners from the day before with the championship game being on Sunday, November 20. The winner of the Horizon League Tournament will earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
