INDIANAPOLIS -- Cleveland State junior midfielder Allie Sieradzki (Westerville, Ohio) is the Horizon League Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while her teammate junior goalkeeper Sarah Wood (Spokane, Wash.) and Valparaiso freshman defender Grace Rogers (Woodbury, Minn.) have been named Co-Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 6-12.

Sieradzki had a goal and an assist last week as Cleveland State scored two League wins. She had an assist on CSU’s game-winning goal in overtime as the Vikings defeated Wright State, 1-0. She scored the game-winning goal in Cleveland State’s 2-0 win over Green Bay. She headed in a corner kick from Katie Bainbridge 8:29 into the match to get the Vikings on the board.

Rogers led a defense that gave up only four shots on goal in two games last week, including just one in an overtime victory over Youngstown State. The freshman from Woodbury, Minn., ended the game against the Penguins as she scored her first career goal in overtime to send the Crusaders to the win.

Wood earned Co-Defensive Player of the Week honors with Rogers after helping lead the Vikings to a pair of shutout wins last week. She made four saves in the 1-0 overtime win over Wright State and posted three more in the 2-0 win over Green Bay. She has now recorded six shutouts this year, second-most in a single season in school history.
