INDIANAPOLIS- Detroit Mercy opened their home slate taking care of business against Kent State 73-52. Valparaiso blew the doors open in their game against IU Kokomo, and Northern Kentucky is still searching for offense being on the short end of a 58-41 final score.




Detroit Mercy held Kent State to 26 percent shooting for the game and Rosanna Reynolds once again led the Titans in scoring with 17 points also played big grabbing seven boards for the squad. Brianne Cohen also performed well with 14 points and six rebounds. The Titans outscored the Golden Flashes in all four quarters including a 23 point outburst in the first quarter.

The Titans will now travel out west to take on Cal State Northridge on Friday, November, 26 at 10:30pm ET.

Valparaiso brought out the offensive firepower tonight easing past IU Kokomo behind Dani Franklin's 24 points on 9-14 shooting from the field. The decision was never in doubt after the Crusaders pounced out to a 23-6 lead after one, and never looked back scoring 102 points in all. Haylee Thompson provided a big lift with 16 points off the bench as the Crusaders are now back to .500 (2-2) on the year.

The Crusaders next match will once again be at the ARC on Friday, November, 26 against Liberty at 5:00pm ET.'

Northern Kentucky falls to the Ohio Bobcats 58-41 after shooting just 29 percent while committing 28 turnovers. The Norse were led by Kelley Wiegman who was the only Norse player to tally double figures with ten points. Rebecca Lyttle was a point away from a double-double and the registering nine points and 13 rebounds.

Northern Kentucky will look to rebound against East Tennessee State University on Saturday, November 27 at 1:00pm ET on ESPN3.
