KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Milwaukee’s Sarah Hagen was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-America Second Team, the organization announced.

A first-team selection last season, Hagen led the nation in goals per game (1.238), points per game (2.90) and game-winning goals (11). Her 26 goals and 61 points were second in the country and established school and Horizon League records.

Hagen was also one of 15 semifinalists for the M.A.C. Hermann Trophy for the second-straight season.

The Appleton native capped her prolific career with 93 goals, which are the ninth-most in NCAA Division I history, and 212 points, which are 17th all-time. Both totals eclipsed the previous Horizon League records.

The first three-time Player of the Year in League history, she was named to the all-region first team for the third time early this week and was named First Team All-Horizon League in each of her four years.

Hagen spent last summer with the US Soccer U-23 Team, leading the team in scoring; this fall, she was invited to U.S. Soccer Training Camp, a precursor to selections for the 2012 Olympic Team.
