Northern Kentucky extended its win streak to five games – the longest in its Division I era – and improved to 8-3 for the season with a 70-48 win against an Eastern Washington team that entered the contest 8-2. The Norse offense assisted 22 times on 26 field goal attempts and held EWU to 32.8 percent shooting.  Wright State made it a Sunday sweep for the Horizon League, topping Kent State on the road. Mark Alstork scored 25 for the Raiders, who connected on 12-of-25 3-point attempts and improved to 8-4 for the season.

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Carson Williams and Cole Murray posted 17 points apiece - a career-high for Williams - to lead the Northern Kentucky men's basketball team to its fifth straight win as it defeated Eastern Washington, 70-48, on Sunday at BB&T Arena.

NKU's five-game win streak is the longest in the DI era and most consecutive wins since a six-game win streak from Feb 2, 2012 to Feb. 18, 2012. The Norse improved to 8-3 overall while Eastern Washington dipped to 8-3.

Wright State 68, at Kent State 63
KENT, Ohio (AP) -- Mark Alstork scored 25 points, Steven Davis had 14, including the clinching free throws with four seconds left and Wright State held off Kent State 68-63 on Sunday.

The Golden Flashes had two possessions to tie, missing four times on the second possession that included a jump ball, before Grant Benzinger made a free throw with 15 seconds left after a defensive rebound. Wright State (8-4) went 12-of-25 from 3-point range.
