Basketball season is now in full swing, and the Horizon League Network is the place to catch games all weekend. All 12 men's basketball games will be streamed live over the weekend, with nine of them on HLN.

ESPN3 will bring fans the I-65 showdown between #8/7 Louisville and Butler on Saturday, while both the Wyoming-Green Bay and Loyola-Furman matchup will be streamed by the home school.

Three of the HLN broadcasts will originate from the Athletics-Recreation Center at Valparaiso, where the Crusaders will be raising money throughout the weekend for cancer awareness and research. Bryce Drew, who was nattily attired in a blue blazer for his coaching debut, will again be wearing blue on Friday, along with his coaching staff. The reason is simple: Homer Drew, patriarch of the Valparaiso program, was diagnosed with prostate cancer this summer.

On Saturday and Sunday, the Crusader coaching staff will be wearing yellow, again for a simple reason: Janet Drew, matriarch of the family, was diagnosed with bladder cancer this summer, as well. With Valparaiso hosting the subregional of the 2k Sports Coaches vs. Cancer Classic this weekend, it only made sense for the Crusader community to do as much as possible to raise supports, funds and awareness for cancer research over the three-day stretch.

On the court, Valparaiso (2-1) will be looking at two measuring stick wins this weekend, the first coming on Friday night when the Crusaders take on Akron. Sunday will see Valpo wrap up tournament play against Duquesne.

Elsewhere, Cleveland State (2-0) will be trying to make a statement at home against the Atlantic 10's St. Bonaventure on Friday night, while Butler (1-1) is after a signature win at home versus Louisville on Saturday afternoon. In a BracketBusters return game, UC-Riverside comes to Youngstown State (2-0) on Friday night.

Green Bay (1-2), after two tough losses will be attempting to bounce back at the Resch Center when Wyoming pays a visit; Milwaukee (2-0) opens play in the Spartan Invitational on Friday night, hosting IUPUI before Texas Southern comes to U.S. Cellular Arena on Sunday. Loyola (0-3) will try to get of the schnide at Furman.

Detroit and UIC both welcome non-Divison I opponents on Friday night and Saturday afternoon, respecitvely.
