INDIANAPOLIS- Cleveland State sophomore, Ashanti Abshaw has been named Horizon League Player of the Week while Youngstown State's Mary Dunn has been selected as Horizon League Freshman of the Week.

Abshaw exploded for 28 points in Cleveland State’s lone game on the week against Bucknell. The sophomore notched four treys on seven attempts and shot 11-23 for the game. Additionally the forward grabbed four rebounds and recorded three steals.
This was the fifth 20-point performance for Abshaw on the season, and her first Player of the Week honor on the year.
Mary Dunn / Youngstown State / Freshman / Forward / Washington, Pennsylvania
Dunn matched her career-high with 19 points against Cornell in 21 minutes of play. The forward shot 8-17 from the floor and pulled down five boards against Cornell. Dunn leads all freshman in the Horizon League in scoring, field goal percentage, and blocks. This is the third Freshman of the Week honor for Dunn on the season.
