Detroit Mercy 55, Green Bay 60

GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay women's basketball team held off Detroit Mercy (7-8, 3-1) on Wednesday night at the Kress Events Center, 60-55, to win its sixth-straight game and hand the Titans their first loss in Horizon League play.

The Phoenix (14-2, 5-0) led by 14 points (32-18) at the half after closing the second quarter on a 12-4 run sparked by back-to-back three-pointers from Catilyn Hibner and Allie LeClaire. Mehryn Kraker also got involved in the run by adding four of the 14 points on a pair of layups.

Oakland 75, Milwaukee 73

MILWAUKEE - Leah Somerfield poured in a career-high 25 points with two blocks while Nola Anderson added a season-high 15 points to lead the Oakland women's basketball team to a 75-73 road win over Milwaukee on Wednesday night. The duo also hit a combined 10-of-13 from the free throw line including 5-of-6 during the final 33 seconds of the game to preserve the win.

Taylor Gleason also added 12 points as the Golden Grizzlies shot 77 percent from the field in the fourth quarter and 52 percent for the game with a season-high 82 percent from the charity stripe.
