Detroit Mercy 69, Wright State 77
Led by a career-high 33 points from Chelsea Welch, the Wright State women's basketball team stretched its winning streak to seven Friday night with a 77-69 Horizon League victory over Detroit Mercy at the Wright State Nutter Center.
Both teams came out strong offensively in the opening quarter as while the Raiders shot 63 percent, the Titans were even hotter, connecting on 10 of 15 shots, including four of seven three-pointers, to take a 26-23 lead.

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS Ky. - Leah Somerfield scored a game-high 17 points going a perfect 3-for-3 from 3-point range and 4-for-4 from the free throw line with eight rebounds while Hannah Little recorded her eighth double-double with 10 points and game-high 18 rebounds as Oakland outlasted Northern Kentucky, 61-47 on Friday night.
