INDIANAPOLIS - The Horizon League office announced Tuesday (Dec. 15) the Horizon League Network Game of the Week men's basketball television package, which will launch following the New Year.

Created in conjunction with WebStream Productions and CVM Productions, the eight-game syndicated series will begin on Jan. 2 and continue through the last day of the regular season on Feb. 27. All games will air on Saturdays at 2 p.m. ET / 1 p.m. CT, and each of the Horizon League's 10 teams will be featured at least once.

All or parts of the HLN Game of the Week package are scheduled to air on Comcast SportsNet Chicago, MyNDY 23 (Indianapolis), MyYTV (Youngstown, Ohio), SportsTime Ohio (Cleveland), Time-Warner Cable Sports32 (Wisconsin) and WBDT-TV Dayton's CW (Dayton, Ohio) as well as ESPN FullCourt, the network's pay-per-view service.

All eight games also will be available to fans anywhere in the world via free live video streaming at HorizonLeagueNetwork.tv, which will feature a total of more than 250 live men's and women's basketball games this season. In addition, the six games that will be carried on ESPN FullCourt also can be viewed on ESPN360.com where available.

Will Haskett will call the play-by-play, with Damon Lewis providing analysis. Haskett has anchored broadcasts of various NCAA championships, including Division I golf and Division I and III volleyball. Lewis is the managing editor of HLN and co-hosts the network's weekly "Two Sense" segment.

"We are excited about the development of the Horizon League Network Game of the Week," said Jonathan B. LeCrone, Horizon League Commissioner. "This eight-game package has tremendous value to our stakeholders and provides another opportunity to tell the stories of our student-athletes, coaches and schools."

The package will tip off with Milwaukee at preseason League favorite Butler Jan. 2, with Milwaukee then playing host to rival Green Bay Jan. 9.

Defending League champion Cleveland State plays at Valparaiso Jan. 16, followed by Butler at UIC Jan. 23 and Loyola at Wright State Jan. 30.

The February schedule begins with Valparaiso hosting Detroit Feb. 6, followed by Butler at Cleveland State Feb. 13 in a re-match of last season's League championship game won by the Vikings.

The final HLN Game of the Week will feature Detroit at Youngstown State Feb. 27, just three days prior to the start of the 2010 Speedway Horizon League Men's Basketball Championship.
