Myanna Ruiz

Hometown: Racine, Wis.

MediumRuiz led UWM in digs both matches last week. She tallied 2 against UIC and then had 31 in Milwaukee's four-set win over Valparaiso. The 31 digs in a four-set match are the most by a player in an HL match this season. She is currently on pace to set a UWM record with an average of 5.06 digs per set.


Milwaukee

Kayla Price

Hometown: Hoffman Estates, Ill.

MediumPrice tallied 104 assists in two crucial UWM wins last week to keep the Panthers postseason hopes alive. She averaged 11.56 assists per set. On Friday night, she helped lead UWM to a season-best .336 hitting percentage in its five-set win over UIC.


Milwaukee

Declan Rodriguez

Hometown: Vancouver, BC

MediumOn Senior Night, Rodriguez scored two goals to bring the Panthers a 4-0 victory over Northern Kentucky. He had a game high six shots, with both of his shots on goal finding the back of the net. The senior finished the regular season in the top 10 for points and second in goals in the League.


Cleveland State

Alek Drobac

Hometown: Ruma, Serbia

MediumDrobac earned the shutout Friday night in CSU’s 1-0 victory over previously undefeated UIC. As the Flames fired 21 shots, the junior notched the seven on goal. The Vikings have shutout five of their last six games. Drobac has notched a 6-3-2 record in goal since entering as a starter.


Green Bay

Racheal Weiland

Hometown: Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.

MediumWeiland participated in four individual events and four relays apiece, taking home solo wins in the 200 yard IM, the 50 yard free, 100 breast and 100 free. The senior also keyed four relay wins as the Phoenix claimed first in the Phoenix 1-2-3 meet.


Cleveland State

Szymon Golczyk

Hometown: Zielona Gora, Poland

MediumIn the 200 Fly, Golczyk easily topped the competition with the 21st best time in the country (1:47.85). No event, though, was more eye-opening than his 100 Fly. Beating the second-place competition by more than five seconds, Golczyk grabbed hold of the eighth best time in the country, a 47.43.


Cleveland State

Danny Roberts

Hometown: Fairview, Pa.

MediumRoberts earned his second recognition this season, placing second in the 3-meter (302.70), narrowly missing first-place. In the 1-meter, Roberts posted an astounding score of 350.90, earning him first-place for the second-straight week.


Milwaukee

Rachel Margis

Hometown: Racine, Wis.

MediumMargis won her third diver of the week honor, sweeping both boards against Wheaton. Margis posted a solid score of 266.78, besting the field of seven, to win on the 1-meter. She saved her best for last, dominating the 3-meter competition with an outstanding score of 312.98.
