Youngstown State

Arnaldo Morales

Hometown: Struthers, Ohio

Medium Morales championed the high jump at the Northeast Ohio Quad. The junior cleared 2.15 meters to break the previous school record of 2.13 meters that was set in 1989.

Youngstown State

Amber Eles

Hometown: Macedonia, Ohio

Medium Eles crossed the finish line first in the 110-meter hurdles. The sophomore ran a league leading time of 13.87 seconds.

Milwaukee

Brett Pozolinski

Hometown: Kimberly, Wis.

Medium Pozolinski tallied a victory in the high jump at the Mt. SAC Relays. The senior cleared 2.15 meters in only three attempts to claim first in the national meet. Pozolinski has cleared seven feet multiple times this season and earns his second Field Athlete of the Week honors this outdoor season.

Milwaukee

Nate Pozolinski

Hometown: Kimberly, Wis.

Medium Pozolinski claimed a first-place finish at the national Mt. SAC Relays in the 110-meter hurdles. With a time of 13.91 seconds, he tied his personal record and league- leading time. One day later, the junior came in fifth out of a field of 54 with a time of 14.18 seconds at the Beach Invitational, another national meet. Pozolinski earns his second Runner of the Week accolades this outdoor season.

Green Bay

Howard Scott

Hometown: Exeter, England

Medium Scott was a perfect 2-0 at No. 1 singles and No. 2 doubles, leading Green Bay to a 2-0 road trip last week.

Oakland

Karine Celis

Hometown: Bogota, Columbia

Medium Celis went 2-0 at No. 3 singles, helping Oakland go 2-0 on the weekend and stay in contention for a Horizon League Tournament bid. Her win at No. 3 singles versus UIC clinched Oakland's 4-3 victory.

Milwaukee

Karlie Place

Hometown: River Falls, Wis.

Medium Place took first place in the pole vault at the Lee Calhoun meet. Clearing 3.81 meters the sophomore set a new personal record and moving closer to the school record. Place is currently ranked first in the Horizon League and 77th in the region, closing in on a spot at regionals.

Cleveland State

Erica McNew

Hometown: Canton, Mich.

Medium McNew hit .600 with eight runs, one double, three home runs and nine RBI in six conference games last week for Cleveland State. The senior drew a total of 16 walks, including 11 intentional walks throughout the week. McNew even tied the NCAA record for intentional walks in a game with four in the second and third games of the series versus Valparaiso. She also posted a 1.600 slugging percentage as well as a .846 on-base percentage while reaching base on 22 of her 26 at bats.

UIC

Elaine Heflin

Hometown: Downers Grove, Ill.

Medium Heflin picked up three wins and one save this past week for UIC as the junior posted a .34 ERA and .171 batting-against average. Heflin fanned 26 batters in her 20.2 innings of work while only allowing one earned run off of 13 hits. In each appearance, she help opponents to less than four or fewer hits and had at least two strikeouts.

Wright State

Robby Sexton

Hometown: Pataskala, Ohio

Medium Sexton earned the win in Wright State's midweek victory over Cincinnati. He pitched seven innings and gave up just one hit and one walk, while striking out six. The only hit he gave up was a bunt single in the seventh inning. He retired the first 17 batters he faced.

Valparaiso

Shea Molitor

Hometown: Plymouth, Minn.

Medium Molitor raised his average from .330 to .363 last week as he went 11-of-21 at the plate. He had 11 RBI on the week, including five in the series opener versus Oakland and three in the finale.

Green Bay

Sammi Grunder

Hometown: Pardeeville, Wis.

Medium Grunder was the top finisher when the Phoenix took on Valparaiso over the weekend. She shot a 76, 80, 75 to win medalist honors, with her first and final round scores besting the field. It marked the third top-five finish for Grunder this spring, and the weekly award from the League was the second of her Green Bay career. She previously won Golfer of the Week in the spring of 2015.

Wright State

Ryan Wenzler

Hometown: Centerville, Ohio

Medium Wenzler earned medalist honors at the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational on Saturday, finishing with a three-round score of 214. After shooting a 69 in the opening round on Friday, he carded a 72 in the second round later that day to be in a tie for second at 141, one shot off the lead. On Saturday, Wenzler shot a 73 to win the tournament by one shot over three other players. It was the second tournament title for Wenzler this year as he also won the NKU Collegiate Classic on September 28.
