Player of the Week | Charles Cooper | Green Bay | Senior | G | Gary, Ind.
Cooper was the key factor in Green Bay going 2-0 to open up Horizon League play, as the senior averaged 20.5 points over two impressive road wins at Cleveland State and Youngstown State. Cooper came off the bench in both games, but still scored a team-high 19 points against the Vikings and another team-high 22 points against the Penguins. The native of Gary, Ind., registered his second career double-double at YSU on New Year’s Eve, tallying 19 points and 10 rebounds. Cooper attempted 21 free throws in the two games and grabbed 18 rebounds, both team highs as well.

The award is Cooper’s first Player of the Week honor of the season and for his career. He’s the first Green Bay player to be named Horizon League Player of the Week since Jordan Fouse (Nov. 30, 2015).
