INDIANAPOLIS - Butler senior Rob Mullett has earned 2010 Horizon League Men's Indoor Track & Field Athlete of the Year honors, while Wright State sophomore Cassandra Lloyd and Loyola sophomore Devin Gosberry have been named Co-Athletes of the Year on the women's side.

Mullett, a distance runner from Brighton, U.K., helps Butler win the men's award for the sixth time in the past seven years.

Mullett captured the 800-meter title (1:54.76) and took second in the mile (4:13.56) at the Horizon League Indoor Championships in Ann Arbor, Mich.

He also turned in the fastest mile in Butler history (3:59.37) at the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash. and earned All-American honors placing seventh in the mile at the NCAA Indoor Nationals.

Lloyd, a hurdler from Springfield, Ohio, becomes the first Wright State student-athlete to earn the award.

Lloyd set a new Horizon League record in the 60-meter hurdles (8.46) en route to an individual conference crown. She also finished third in the 60 meter (7.78) and seventh in the 200 meter (26.17) at the League championships.

During the regular season, Lloyd broke Wright State records in the 55-meter hurdles (8.01) and 60 meter (7.76) in addition to posting an NCAA provisional mark and school-record clocking in the 60-meter hurdles (8.38).

Gosberry, a sprinter from Munster, Ind., becomes the first Loyola student-athlete to earn the accolade.

Gosberry notched two individual titles -- 200 meter (25.13) and 400 meter (55.39) -- and helped LU to the 4x400 relay crown (3:54.38) at the League championships. She was also named Most Outstanding Running Performer for the event after her 400-meter clocking (55.39) set a new conference record.

During the regular season, Gosberry set Loyola standards in the 200 (24.67, Iowa State Invite), 300 (39.14, Meyo Invite), 400 (53.67, Iowa State Qualifier), 500 (1:14.26, Notre Dame Opener) and 4x400 relay (3:51.04, Iowa State Invite).

Horizon League Indoor Track & Field Athletes of the Year are voted on by the conference's eight head coaches and have been named each year since 2003.

The 2010 Horizon League Outdoor Track & Field Championships are set for April 30-May 2 in Lisle, Ill.
