INDIANAPOLIS - The Horizon League announced the Academic All-League Team for women's basketball with five student-athletes being recognized for their work in their sport and in the classroom. A faculty athletics representative (FAR) from each school casted their vote by ballot in deciding who would be awarded Academic All-League honors.

Four of the ten Horizon League schools were represented on the team with Oakland having two players in Nicole Dodd and Taylor Gleason being honored. Green Bay's Mehryn Kraker picked up academic team honors after being recognized as the Horizon League Player of the Year just days ago. Haleigh Ristovski is highlighted for Detroit Mercy and Steph Kostowicz is featured for Milwaukee to round out the academic all-league team.

The Horizon League recognizes student-athletes with seasonal Academic All-League Teams in each of its 19 championship sports. To be eligible for Academic All-Horizon League consideration, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade-point-average of 3.20 or higher (based on a 4.00 scale) and have completed at least one year at the member institution, having earned 24 semester-hour or 36 quarter-hour credits.
