INDIANAPOLIS – Milwaukee claims both Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors this week after defeating No. 19 ranked Marquette. The Panthers’ senior Aubrey Krahn is awarded Offensive Player of the Week after scoring both goals in Milwaukee’s 2-1 win over Marquette this week. Redshirt senior goalkeeper Mallory Geurts earned Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season by posting nine shutouts in a row and holding Marquette to one goal in Sunday evening’s match.

Krahn came through with a pair of goals as UWM defeated No. 19 Marquette, 2-1, Sunday night to improve to 9-0-1. The 10-game unbeaten start to the season is a school record. The win was UWM's first over a nationally-ranked opponent since 2006.

Geurts posted her ninth shutout in a row Friday in a 1-0 win over Detroit Mercy before finally allowing a goal - but in a 2-1 win over No. 19 Marquette - Milwaukee's first over a ranked opponent in 11 years. Her scoreless streak of 917:27 is a school and league record - as well as the ninth-longest streak in NCAA Division I history.
