Milwaukee remained unbeaten in Horizon League women’s soccer action, standing at the top of the table as Saturday’s matches came to a close.

Wright State 3, Youngstown State 0: Behind three first half goals, Wright State celebrated Senior Day with a 3-0 win over Youngstown State at Alumni Field. The first Raider goal came at the 22:51 mark as sophomore midfielder Bryce Hueber connected on a short shot in front of the net. Milwaukee 1, Detroit 0: Milwaukee made an own goal stand up in claiming a 1-0 victory over Detroit at Engelmann Stadium. The only score of the night came just after intermission. Junior Callie O'Donnell took control of the ball near midfield and fed sophomore Sydney Senn, who was streaking down the left sideline. Senn sent service into the penalty area and a backline defender, in an attempt to control the ball, redirected it into the net at the near post at the 46:18 mark. Read more…(link)

Cleveland State 2, Northern Kentucky 1 (2OT): Kaila Sargema scored two goals, including the game-winner in double overtime with 21 seconds left, as Cleveland State earned three points with a 2-1 victory over previously undefeated Northern Kentucky. In the overtime sessions, both teams had chances to end the contest, but it wasn't until Sargema finished a chance with 21 seconds left that clinched a key three points for the Vikings. Sargema took a feed from Ashley Thiss just inside the box and fired a shot to the opposite post, past the reach of the NKU goalkeeper to end the contest. Read more…(link)

UIC 0, Oakland 0 (2OT): UIC continued with its aggressive play at Flames Field as it battled with Oakland for 110 minutes before the match ended in a 0-0 draw. The Flames are now 2-1-1 in their last four games with back-to-back shutouts. Read more…(link)

Valparaiso 2, Green Bay 1: Rita Craven put Valparaiso ahead just over a minute into the Crusaders’ Horizon League match against Green Bay at Brown Field, and Craven would complete her brace with a wonderful strike midway through the first half as the Crusaders took down the Phoenix, 2-1.
