It was a good night to be a Wisconsin-based Horizon League member.  Milwaukee led wire-to-wire in a 76-52 win over Butler, while Green Bay rebounded from an 0-2 weekend to record a 77-61 victory over Houston Baptist.

Playing its third game in five days, Milwaukee (8-8, 3-2 Horizon) showed no signs of fatigue, knocking down jumper after jumper en route to snapping Butler's (10-5, 2-1 Horizon) 22-game Horizon League regular-season winning streak.  With Kaylon Williams running the offense, Anthony Hill and Tony Meier controlled the inside and outside, respectively, helping Williams record the first triple-double of the Horizon League season with 10 points, 10 boards and 10 assists.

Hill finished with 22 points, helping set the early pace, while Meier thwarted a pair of Bulldog runs with three-pointers on his way to 20 points.  The duo combined to go 17-of-21 from the field, with Meier connecting on 4-of-7 three-point field goals.

Matt Howard led Butler with 14 points but was hampered by three quick fouls early in the second half.  Ronald Nored added 12 for the Bulldogs, who will host Cleveland State (15-1, 4-0 Horizon) on Friday in what is shaping up to be a key early-season matchup for both teams.  ESPNU will carry the game, with the tip coming at 7 p.m. ET from Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Having alternated superb shooting efforts with subpar ones over its last six outings, Milwaukee bottled up the same energy that carried it to an 84-81 win at Detroit on Saturday, hitting 11 three-pointers 48 hours after knocking down 16.

The Panthers will look for their third consecutive solid shooting night against in-state rival Green Bay (7-9, 1-3 Horizon), who tuned up for Saturday night's tilt with a 77-61 victory over visiting Houston Baptist.

A balanced attack carried the Phoenix, as Rahmon Fletcher, Daniel Turner and Jarvis Williams each finished with 14 points.  Alec Brown added 12 and helped lead a Green Bay assault on the boards as the Phoenix grabbed 20 more rebounds than Houston Baptist.

Brown got the Phoenix started with a dunk off a Bryquis Perine feed and the team never looked back in a coast-to-coast victory.
