Milwaukee posted its most goals since 1997, while Youngstown State notched its second straight victory of the weekend on Sunday.

Milwaukee 9, Chicago State 0: Callie O'Donnell and Sydney Senn each scored a pair of goals to highlight the action as Milwaukee recorded a 9-0 victory over Chicago State at Kroc Stadium. The Panthers led the Cougars by a score of just 1-0 at halftime before turning on the jets in the second half. The nine goals scored mark the most by the Panthers since the team set the school record with 16 back in September of 1997. Read more…(link)

Youngstown State 3, Findlay 2 (OT): Macey Riese scored her first goal of the season in the first overtime period to lift Youngstown State to a 3-2 win over Findlay at Farmers National Bank Field. With just over three minutes left in the first extra period, Shannon Leghart lofted a direct kick into the Findlay penalty box. The Oilers' goalkeeper mishandled the pass and Riese crashed the net and slipped a shot in the left side of the goal for the game winner at the 96:38 mark. Read more…(link)

Valparaiso 1, Bowling Green 1 (2OT): Valparaiso had a myriad of opportunities at goal, recording one of the highest shot counts in program history, but the Crusaders were only able to finish one chance as they drew 1-1 with Bowling Green at Brown Field in their final match prior to the start of league play. The Crusaders ended the 110 minutes of play on Sunday with 32 total shot attempts, fifth-most in a single match in program history and the most by a Valpo team since 2006. The efforts were not haphazard ones, either, as 22 of Valpo’s 32 shots were on goal, the third-highest total shots on goal in a single match all-time by the Crusaders. Read more…(link)

Kent State 2, Cleveland State 0: Cleveland State dropped its final nonconference match of the season, falling 2-0 at Kent State. The Golden Flashes scored both of their goals in the first half, the first coming just 8:54 into the contest when Jenna Hellstrom netted her fifth goal of the season on a free kick from the top of the box. Toledo 1, Wright State 0: A late goal by Toledo proved to be the difference as the Rockets defeated Wright State, 1-0, at Scott Park. Toledo's goal came at the 84:06 mark of the second half as Brooke Maletic scored on assists by Isa Echeverri and Kiersten Johnson. The Rockets finished with a 12-8 shot advantage despite WSU leading in corner kicks 6-2. Read more…(link)

San Francisco 2, Oakland 0: Alice Palmer had a game-high four shots, including three shots on goal as Oakland fell to San Francisco 2-0 at the Oakland Soccer Field. Freshman goalkeeper Emily Zweng recorded her first-career save, coming in for an injured Alison Holland. Read more…(link)

Iowa 3, UIC 0: UIC was unable to respond to three goals scored by Iowa on Sunday at it fell to the Hawkeyes at the Iowa Soccer Complex. The Flames took 10 shots on the day, marking their fifth game of the year with a double-digit shot total, while the Hawkeyes had 19 attempts. Jasmin Carrera produced a team-high four shots, while Emi Yamamoto, Emily Wauer and Naomi Rushe each earned a shot on goal. Read more…(link)

Eastern Washington 4, Green Bay 2: Green Bay struck first, but three answered goals from Eastern Washington sent the Eagles past the Phoenix, 3-1, at Aldo Santaga Stadium. Devan Schultz' first career goal got the Phoenix out to an early lead just 3:02 into the match, but three Eagles goals sent EWU into the intermission up, 3-1. Schultz would strike again in the 77th minute, drawing Green Bay within a goal, but Eastern Washington would counter shortly thereafter. Read more...(link)
