MILWAUKEE, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee women's soccer team will play Central Florida in the first round of the NCAA Tournament this weekend in Madison.

The Panthers and Golden Knights will face off on Friday at a time to be determined. The winner of their match will take on the winner of host Wisconsin and Arizona State on Sunday.

UCF was ranked No. 9 in last week's NSCAA National Poll and enters the tournament with a 16-4-1 record. The Golden Knights won the Conference USA regular season title with a 10-1 record, but fell to Memphis in the C-USA championship game, 3-0.

Milwaukee was sent to a familiar site in the University of Wisconsin's McClimon Soccer Comlex. The Panthers play there on a bi-annual basis against the Badgers. They tied UW, 0-0, in Madison in August.

UWM is 3-0 all-time against UCF, scoring 1-0 wins in meetings in 1997, 1998 and 2005. The 2005 contest was decided in overtime and was played in Orlando, Fla. The Panthers are 4-17-5 all-time against Wisconsin, but are 3-0-1 over the last four meetings. They have also never played Arizona State.

Milwaukee has won 10-straight games, including an 8-0 record in league play. The Panthers shut out a pair of league foes on their way to a sixth league tournament title over the weekend. They defeated Loyola, 2-0, in the semifinals Friday before Sunday's title game victory.
