INDIANAPOLIS - University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee junior Dan Heraly and sophomore teammate Jake Koll were named Horizon League Men’s Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively, for the period of Oct. 5-11. 

Against Big Ten-foe Wisconsin, Heraly took home first-place honors in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 9:53.81.  The Green Bay, Wis., native, also earned a fourth-place finish in the 500 free, posting a 4:48.95.

The junior collects his first career Swimmer of the Week award and the first for Milwaukee since  Feb. 4, 2008 (Jake Kalinowski).

Koll competed in the one- and three-meter diving competitions and posted scores of 208.95 and 255.00, respectively in the same meet.  He was UWM’s top finisher in both events.

The sophomore brings home his first Diver of the Week award and the Panthers’ first since Dec. 4, 2007 (P.J. Rongitsch).

Milwaukee takes a few weeks off before returning to Big Ten competition on Oct. 23 when it travels to Iowa City for tri-meet with University of Iowa and Michigan State University.
