Roberts, Johnson Named Divers of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS -- Cleveland State’s Danny Roberts and UIC’s Whitney Johnson are the Horizon League Men’s and Women’s Diver of the Week for Nov. 12-18.

Roberts, a freshman from Fairview, Pa., finished in first place in both diving events at the Magnus Cup Invitational hosted by Cleveland State last week. Roberts won the 1-meter event with a score of 318.65 and took home top honors by more than 25 points over second place in the 3-meter dive with a score of 300.40.

Johnson, a sophomore from Roscoe, Ill., had two solid diving finishes this past weekend while competing for the Flames at the TYR Invitational hosted by Northwestern. Johnson was fifth in the 3-meter event with a score of 243.40 and third in the 1-meter dive with a score of 253.25.
