Detroit completed the program sweep of the Horizon League Golf Championships today as the men captured its fifth title in nine years, just two days after the Titan women earned top honors. Detroit finished the 54-hole event with a score of 875 (+11) while Green Bay trailed by six strokes at 881 (+17). The Titans earn the league's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Championships.
Individual honors went to Youngstown State's Ryan Stocke as the senior carded a three-round total of 215 (-1), sending him to the NCAA Championships. Stocke fired off a tournament-low 68 (-4) in the final round to secure the victory.
Immediately following the event, All-Tournament accolades were announced at the annual men's golf awards banquet. This year's recipients included Cleveland State's Michael Klaric, Detroit's Jeff Clarridge and Britt Pronk, Green Bay's Chad Ebert, Loyola's Thomas Greene, Wright State's Charlie Doll and YSU's Stocke.
