After 36 holes of the of the 2010 Horizon League Men's Golf Championship, Detroit fronts the conference contingent with a one-stroke lead over Green Bay. The Titans posted a first-day score of 587 (+11) while the Phoenix carded a 588 (+12). Sitting in third place is Wright State with a 598 (+22) total while Youngstown State follows three swings behind for fourth.
Leading the individual championship is Loyola's Thomas Greene as the senior turned in a two-round tally of 142 (-2). Greene's first round of 69 ties Detroit's Jeff Clarridge for the best single-round score of the tournament so far. Clarridge trails Wright State's Charlie Doll for third as the two remain one stroke apart at 143 (-1) and 144 (E).
Play resumes again on Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. ET with the final 18 holes of the championship.
