THE HORIZON LEAGUE SPOTLIGHT
Green Bay is ranked No. 22 in the most-recent Associated Press poll (Dec. 28) and No. 23 in the latest ESPN/USA Today poll (Dec. 22). The Phoenix's best all-time ranking of No. 16 came during the 2002-03 season.Green Bay (11-0) is one of just six undefeated NCAA Division I women's teams. Georgia (12-0) is the only undefeated squad with more wins than the Phoenix.Green Bay has defeated three Bowl Championship Series Conference opponents this season. The Phoenix topped Wisconsin (60-58) on Nov. 24, DePaul (79-68) on Dec. 2 and Marquette (65-48) on Dec. 19.Cleveland State posted a 77-75 win over Indiana on Dec. 19. The overtime decision was CSU's first win over a BCS Conference opponent since Dec. 30, 1996, when the Vikings knocked off Big East foe Syracuse. CSU defeated Louisville on Dec. 18, 2003, but the Cardinals were a Conference USA member at the time.

BUTLER BULLDOGS (6-4 overall, 0-0 HL)
Butler has been idle the past week. The Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday when they host Ball State at 7 p.m. ET.
CLEVELAND STATE VIKINGS (5-5 overall, 0-0 HL)
Cleveland State claimed its third straight victory with a 74-63 decision over Lake Erie on Wednesday.Senior Kailey Klein is just 192 points shy of breaking the Cleveland State all-time scoring record. She is currently fourth on the list with 1,851 points.Kailey Klein has started 91 consecutive games after coming off the bench for the first 13 games of her collegiate career.
DETROIT TITANS (1-9 overall, 0-0 HL)
Detroit trailed by just four points at halftime of last Tuesday's game against #9/9 Georgia, but UGA posted a 37-17 advantage in the second half for a 66-42 win.Senior Brigid Mulroy led the Titans with 14 points on 3-of-9 shooting and 5-of-5 from the free-throw line. She also grabbed a team-best seven boards vs. Georgia.
#22/23 GREEN BAY PHOENIX (11-0 overall, 0-0 HL)
Green Bay has won an all-time best 29 consecutive regular-season contests.At 11-0, the Phoenix is also off to its best start in the program's 36-year history.Monday's 75-64 win over Southern Illinois gave Green Bay its first undefeated non-conference season in program history.Matt Bollant recorded his 200th win as a collegiate head coach on Monday.Junior Kayla Tetschlag posted her first career double-double against Southern Illinois. She tallied career highs of 25 points and 14 rebounds.For the first time since Feb. 24, 2000 (238 games), Green Bay was held without a three-point field goal.
LOYOLA RAMBLERS (6-5 overall, 0-0 HL)
Loyola is 4-1 at home this season after going 3-8 at the Gentile Center in 2008-09.The Ramblers enter Horizon League play over .500 for the first time since the 2001-02 campaign.Loyola had four players reach double figures in Monday's 86-57 win over Colgate. Junior Brittany Boeke led the way with a career-high 22 points.Loyola's backcourt of senior Keisha Collins, senior Maggie McCloskey and sophomore Katie Kortekamp combined for 20 assists and just three turnovers against Colgate.
MILWAUKEE PANTHERS (5-5 overall, 0-0 HL)
Milwaukee has been idle the past week. The Panthers return to action on Tuesday when they host Marquette at 9 p.m. ET.
UIC FLAMES (3-7 overall, 0-0 HL)
UIC has been idle the past week. The Flames return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Northern Illinois at 8 p.m. ET.
VALPARAISO CRUSADERS (3-7 overall, 0-0 HL)
Valparaiso committed a season-low six turnovers on Monday against Auburn. The Tigers came into the game forcing 17.3 miscues per contest.Freshman Laura Richards recorded a career-best eight points vs. Auburn. She entered the day with just five points in nine contests.Junior Ashley Varner is up to 12 blocked shots on the season after entering the year with just 14 in her collegiate career.

Wright State has been idle the past week. The Raiders return to action on Tuesday when they travel to Cincinnati at 7 p.m. ET.
YOUNGSTOWN STATE PENGUINS (0-11 overall, 0-0 HL)
Youngstown State has been idle the past week. The Penguins return to action on Saturday when they host Milwaukee at 4:35 p.m. ET.
