Women's Basketball - Plays of the week

The women of Green Bay swam away with their sixth consecutive Swimming and Diving title, while the men of Milwaukee won their first championship since 2000. Several other men and women won individual championships and broke records during the four day competition.

The starting backcourt of Rahmon Fletcher, Troy Cotton and Bryquis Perine combined for 58 points to lift visiting Green Bay (20-11, 11-7 Horizon) to an 87-71 victory over Loyola University Chicago (14-15, 5-13 Horizon) this afternoon at the Gentile Center in the regular-season finale for both teams. Green Bay connected on 53 percent (33-for-62) of its shots from the field.

Senior Kaitlyn March saved the best game of her career for her last home contest, scoring a career-high 21 points and tying a school and Beeghly Center single-game record with seven 3-pointers. But despite her efforts and another double-double from Brandi Brown, the Youngstown State women’s basketball dropped a hard-fought 80-62 decision to Detroit on Saturday afternoon at the Beeghly Center.
