Green Bay (16-9, 8-5 Horizon League) limited Milwaukee (13-11, 5-7) to just 20 second-half points en route to a 61-54 win in another hard-fought game between the arch rivals at the Resch Center. For the eighth time in the series’ last nine games, the contest was decided by single digits.

Visiting Cleveland State (12-12, 8-4 Horizon) rallied from a nine-point deficit in the final nine minutes and held on for a 59-56 victory over Loyola University Chicago (13-10, 4-9 Horizon) this afternoon at the Gentile Center. Loyola senior forward Andy Polka grabbed seven rebounds to increase his career total to 702 as he became only the 14th player in school history to top the 700-board plateau.

Kailey Klein scored a season-high 31 points and in the process became the all-time scoring leader in Cleveland State women’s basketball history, but Loyola spoiled the party with a 74-64 win over the Vikings in the Wolstein Center on Saturday afternoon.

Valparaiso ran out to a 19-point halftime lead over Detroit Saturday afternoon in Horizon League action at the ARC, and after the Titans took over the lead in the second half, the Crusaders rallied for a 74-70 victory to move into a tie with Detroit in the league standings.

The experience of the Bulldogs showed as they were able to fight through 21 turnovers to grab a 63-58 victory over Detroit Thursday night at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Butler moved to 19-4 on the season and a perfect 12-0 in Horizon League play becoming the first team in school history to start 12-0 in league play.

Five players scored in double figures and the team shot a season-best 58 percent (34-for-59) from the field as Loyola University Chicago (13-9, 4-8 Horizon) rallied from a 10-point first-half deficit to post a 92-85 victory over Youngstown State (8-14, 2-10 Horizon) in overtime at the Gentile Center tonight. The 92 points are the most scored by the Ramblers since a 96-74 victory over John Carroll on Nov. 17, 2006.
