Hometown: Superior, Wisconsin

MediumLindstrom had a strong performance on the road against the No. 1 team in the nation, Notre Dame. The junior recorded her second double-double tallying 20 points and 16 rebounds in 39 minutes of play. The forward shot 8-13 from the field including 4-7 from three. Lindstrom also tallied an assist, a block, and a steal as the Phoenix came up just short 71-67 versus the Fighting Irish.


Youngstown State

Mary Dunn

Hometown: Washington, Pennsylvania

MediumMary Dunn recorded her first career start against Pittsburgh as she notched eight points and seven rebounds. The forward also contributed for the Penguins in Hawaii with 14 points in 17 minutes facing the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors, and stuffed the stat sheet versus Sacramento State as she scored 15 points, grabbed six rebounds, and registered four blocks as Youngstown State obtained their first win on the campaign.

Marcus Ottey

Hometown: Ajax, Ontario, Canada

MediumUIC’s Marcus Ottey has been named Horizon League Men’s Basketball Freshman of the Week after helping the Flames to a 2-0 mark last week. For the week, Ottey averaged 13.5 points and four rebounds per contest while shooting 66.7 percent.


Wright State

Mark Alstork

Hometown: Dayton, Ohio

MediumWright State guard Mark Alstork has been named the Horizon League Men’s Basketball Player of the Week following an impressive week that saw him climb to the top of the NCAA Division I scoring chart after posting a near triple-double (29 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assist) against Miami (OH) and 39 point to go with six rebounds against Toledo.

Molly McNamara

Hometown: Cranebrook, Australia

MediumThis past weekend McNamara broke the school record in the 100 fly with a time of 54.36, placing in 2nd/79 and posted NCAA 'B' standard. The sophomore also placed 1st/44, with a time of 1:59.93 in the 200 Butterfly. As a result from this weekend she has already posted top League times this season in three events during the Magus Cup meet.

Curtis Roden

Hometown: North Canton, Ohio

MediumRoden posted a career-best score in winning the 3-meter event with a score of 295.95. The standout diver also placed second in the 1-meter event with a score of 243.35.

Philipp Sikatzki

Hometown: Leipzig, Germany

MediumThe senior broke the pool record in three events and broke the school record in the 200 IM with a time of 1:46.63. Sikatzki achieved NCAA 'B' standards in four events, three in which he placed first in, including the 100 Butterfly with a time of 46.33 resulting in 1st / 56 and the 100 Freestyle with a registered time of 44.04 placing 1st / 79.
