In my four years at Cleveland State we've traveled all across the United States, reaching destinations as far away as California, New York, and even Alaska. But never before has a CSU team, with Kate Peterson Abiad at the helm, traveled to a foreign country.

This past Thanksgiving break, our team had the opportunity to play in the Caribbean Challenge in Cancun, Mexico. We were faced with Big East opponent Marquette and Iona University. After losing a close game to Marquette, we bounced back to take a commanding win over the Iona Gaels. The trip was an exciting experience both on and off the court. It was definitely one of my most memorable times as a CSU Viking.

Today we travel to Niagara, New York to play Niagara University. This has been a game I have been looking forward to for quite some time. Being a native of Canada, this is somewhat of a homecoming for me, along with my other Canadian teammates. I can't wait to take the court and play in front of some familiar faces!
